Risk Management Leadership Program (RMLP)

GE relies on Global Risk Management professionals to objectively assess and manage the risk in our businesses and to structure financial arrangements for the mutual benefit of our customers and shareholders. Risk professionals are important members of a business leadership team, touching every part of the operation and making smart decisions that help GE sustain its record of profitable growth.

RMLP interviews take place on selected campuses, please check with your local career services office to see if RMLP is coming to your campus.

 

RMLP Overview

Program Summary
  • Combination of tiered training and rotational assignments in one of the GE financial services businesses - GE Commercial Finance, GE Consumer Finance, GE Insurance, GE Equipment Management
  • Exposure will include underwriting, portfolio analysis and management, deal structuring, statistical modeling and mastery of various risk processes and tools
  • Opportunities to design, implement and improve GE Risk
  • In depth exposure to GE Risk organization within one of the Consumer, Commercial, Insurance and Equipment segments
  • Rotational assignments are based upon business need and will occur in one of the above-mentioned vertical businesses
Program Requirements
  • Graduate degree (i.e. MBA, Masters of Finance, Accounting, Statistics).Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 (4.0 scale)
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience in leasing or lending, underwriting, portfolio management, financial planning and analysis, statistical modeling, insurance or M&A
  • Ability to seek pertinent data, challenge assumptions and consistently execute while building strong relationships with functional teams
  • Strong analytic and technical skills
  • Business level proficiency in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus
  • Geographically mobility; Associates will be required to relocate while on program
  • RMLP will entertain candidates who hold current work eligibility in the US, EU and Japan
