Entry Paths to GE
Corporate Leadership Programmes
These programmes, typically two years in length, are designed to give tremendous breadth of experience and hands-on training. Considered the talent pipeline for GEs different functional areas, these programmes are rotational in nature and combine real work experience with specialized coursework or classroom training. Offered at the majority of GEs businesses, these programmes hire throughout the year, recruiting predominately in the autumn. GE has both entry-level programmes that require a bachelors degree or equivalent, and masters-level programmes that seek candidates with a masters degree or equivalent or an MBA.
Business Specific Programmes
These training programmes, while also rotational in nature, are offered only at a given GE Business, and usually support the talent pipeline needed for that business. Typically two years in length, these programmes offer hands-on training specific to a businesss needs.
Direct Hire Positions
These are full-time positions being offered by a given GE Business. These are not rotational in nature and are not limited to a specific time period.
