Summary
The CLP program accelerates your learning and productivity by incorporating self-study modules, mentored on-the-job training and headquarters sponsored training. You will focus on mastering the skills of a Sales Engineer Assistant while learning the skills and competencies needed to become an outside Sales Engineer.
Position description:
Fulfill responsibilities of various rotations within Sales, Marketing and Commercial Operations along with completing the requirements of the CLP Program. The Sales Engineer Assistant responsibilities during each rotation will vary by assignment. Phase I will focus on Inside Sales Support: gaining product knowledge while providing inside support for field sales engineers. Phase 2 will focus on Marketing: learning the competitive landscape of products, strategic pricing, advertisement/promotional activities, and trade area reviews. Phase 3 will focus on outside sales: teaming up with field sales engineers to work directly with customers developing value-added solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required Engineering or Industrial Distribution majors
- Minimum GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Prior internship or co-op experience
- Geographic mobility
- Demonstrated interest in sales career & results oriented
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
