Summary

The CLP program accelerates your learning and productivity by incorporating self-study modules, mentored on-the-job training and headquarters sponsored training. You will focus on mastering the skills of a Sales Engineer Assistant while learning the skills and competencies needed to become an outside Sales Engineer in our electrical Distribution & Lighting Organization.

Position description:

Fulfill responsibilities of a Sales Engineer Assistant along with completing the requirements of the CLP Program. The Sales Engineer Assistant responsibilities include Pre and Post order support for Sale Engineers in the office including entering orders, responding to technical inquiries, assisting customers with product selection, preparing project quotations, providing project management, preparing open order reports, reconciling billing, expediting, conducting shipment pre-negotiations, preparing drawings for approval, resolving product service issues, managing receivables, and authorizing returns.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required Engineering or Industrial Distribution majors
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • Prior internship or co-op experience
  • Geographic mobility
  • Demonstrated interest in sales career & results oriented
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
