As part of our strategy to achieve commercial excellence and drive organic growth, we are developing a pipeline of strong sales leaders at GE through the Commercial Leadership Program (CLP). CLP offers a core curriculum that fosters the development of commercial skills and techniques that are critical to success in all GE businesses. The structure, duration and additional training are determined at the business level to meet their specific development and industry needs. Although the approach may vary by business, the end result is the same - CLP prepares candidates for a successful career in sales by providing the opportunity to learn about our products, industry, and customers while making valuable contributions to the organization.

GE Energy Europe hires CLPs in many locations in Europe. Currently we are looking for candidates in following countries: France, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Czech Republic and Russia.

GE Energy CLP Overview

CLP is a great opportunity for entry level engineers to use their technical knowledge in a challenging commercial environment. It combines on-the-job training and formal coursework to provide program members with the framework to best understand GE Energy's commercial strategy. Qualified candidates can expect:

  • Great on the job experience with 4 global rotations (24 month program)
  • Exposure to a number of Energy businesses, products and leaders
  • World-class training in sales, leadership and business skills (Selling@GE, Marketing@GE and Negotiation Skills)
Europe Minimum Candidate Qualifications

  • Engineering degree preferred
  • Academic Excellence
  • Less than 2 years full-time external work experience
  • English language fluency, additional languages a plus
  • Demonstrated interest in sales and Energy Industry
  • Relevant Work Permit or Work Authorization required
  • Geographic Mobility
