The Financial Management Programme (FMP) is GE’s entry-level training programme for high potential individuals seeking a fast paced career in Finance. It is the first step in many successful GE Finance careers.

We are looking for energetic, intelligent, driven people with a high level of integrity, who enjoy working towards common goals in team environments.

Businesses in Europe that currently recruit for FMP include Advanced Materials, Consumer Finance, Commercial Finance, Consumer & Industrial, Energy, Equipment Services, Healthcare, Insurance Solutions and Infrastructure.

Programme Summary
  • An intensive 24-month programme of four rotational assignments in one of GE’s global businesses
  • Hands-on experience may include: financial planning, accounting, operations analysis, auditing, forecasting, treasury/cash management, commercial finance and Six Sigma Quality
  • Combines coursework, job assignments and interactive seminars to equip you with exceptional technical, financial and business skills
  • Two intakes per year with start dates in January/February and July/August
Candidate Criteria
  • Superior academic achievement
  • Demonstrated interest or competency in Finance
  • Fluent English
  • Flexibility and mobility as travel is required. You will be required to take assignments across Europe.
  • Less than 1 year full-time external work experience
  • European Work Permit/Work Authorization
Preferred Criteria
  • Leadership roles on and off campus
  • Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving
  • Strong team and communication skills
  • Relevant internships and/or degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics preferred
